<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection nozzle and a direct injection type fuel injection valve which promote atomization of an injection fuel. <P>SOLUTION: An injector 10 can produce a large amount of fine bubbles approximately uniformly in a fuel to be injected, by configuring the injector to include: a spiral fuel guide groove 107 allowing a fuel to flow, the groove disposed in a needle side of a sliding part between a wall face of a nozzle body 101 and the needle 104; a fuel reservoir 108 disposed to reserve the fuel passing through the fuel guide groove 107, between the needle 104 and the fuel injection hole 102; and a gas suction hole 109 capable of sucking an external gas through the top end of the nozzle body 101 into the fuel reservoir 108.
