[Class 18] A carton has end walls of different shape, e.g. oval or oblong and round or square, and a body 3 consisting of a parallel sided tube of cardboard, metal or synthetic resin deformed to conform with the shape of the cover and to present upwardly diverging and upwardly converging shapes in front and side elevations respectively. The carton shown has a circular metal base 1 and an elliptical cover 2 with one or more apertures 4 through which the contents, e.g. powder, can be blown by flexing the body portion. The apertures may be sealed temporarily by a disc 5 secured to the cover by adhesive or by punchings 6 therefrom. |
