<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeder which can suppress paper from being fed without being supported by a part to be housed of a paper supporting member when paper is fed from a paper feeding opening. <P>SOLUTION: The paper feeder 2 is equipped with: a device body 11 having the paper feeding opening 21; and the paper supporting member 3 for supporting paper in the paper feeding opening 21. The paper supporting member 3 has a cover part 4 which opens and closes the paper feeding opening 21 and the part to be housed 5 which can be housed in the device body 11, and the cover part 4 is connected with the part to be housed 5 so as to rotate. The paper supporting member 3 transits from a first state, where the cover part 4 closes the paper feeding opening 21 and further the part to be housed 5 is housed in the device body 11, to a second state, where the state that the paper feeding opening 21 is released is maintained. At the paper supporting member 3 is provided with a projection 7 which restrains a state where the paper feeding opening 21 is released from being maintained in the case that the part to be housed 5 is housed in the device body 11 when the paper supporting member 3 transits from the first state to the second state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
