<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile hood panel, which is made of aluminum alloy, having superior light weight characteristics and pedestrian protection performance. <P>SOLUTION: The automobile hood panel is constituted by laminating an outer panel and an inner panel made of aluminum alloy. In the hood panel, (i) an inner panel includes (i-1) a plurality of portions each having an approximately trapezoidal cross section, extended to the long side direction and short side direction of the hood panel and protruded viewed from an engine room side and (i-2) a plurality of recesses arranged between the adjacent protrusions and opposing to the outer panel in the vicinity of the outer panel; (ii) the length l in the long side direction of the inner panel consisting of the protrusions and recesses is set to be ≥42% and ≤90% of the length L in the long side direction of the outer panel; and (iii) the cross sectional shape at the center in the long side direction of the inner panel satisfies 272.8<l/L+5.2ä(6.4×10<SP POS="POST">-5</SP>)Ix+43.8tin}, when second moment of the cross section is represented as Ix and the thickness of the inner panel as tin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
