<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas cleaning filter and its production method, which can clean PM and CO and enables the production at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust gas cleaning filter 1 includes a honeycomb structure 2 having an outer peripheral wall 21, a cell wall 22 and a plurality of cells 23. The cell wall 22 carries a PM combustion catalyst 31 and an oxidation catalyst 41. The exhaust gas cleaning filter 1 includes a PM combustion area 3 not carrying the oxidation catalyst 41 but carrying the PM combustion catalyst 31, and an oxidation area 4 carrying the oxidation catalyst 41. The PM combustion area 3 is arranged at the upstream side of the flow direction 100 of the exhaust gas, while the oxidation area is arranged in the downstream side. For the production of the exhaust gas cleaning filter, the process of carrying the PM combustion catalyst and the process of carrying the oxidation catalyst are performed. In the process of carrying the oxidation catalyst, the part from the end face (B)29 of the honeycomb structure 2 to the position forming the oxidation area 4 is immersed in a dispersion liquid of the oxidation catalyst, and a part from the end face (A) 28 to the position forming the PM combustion area 3 is not immersed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
