<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle operation and display device which is used to set and instruct a plurality of on-vehicle functions using both a touch panel and mechanical switches and which enables the user to easily recognize operating positions. <P>SOLUTION: A first area 18 having a mechanical switch 19 for an air conditioner and an escutcheon switch 20 is provided to the lower side part of a monitor 15 having a touch panel 16, a second area 21 having a mechanical switch 22 for an audio and an escutcheon switch 23 is provided to the left side part thereof, and a third area 24 having a mechanical switch 25 for navigation and an escutcheon switch 26 is provided to the right side part thereof. When either of the escutcheon switches 20, 23, 26 is operated to switch the display of the monitor 15 to a display for functions, design lines 27a, 28a, 29a are displayed together with icons 27, 28, 29 corresponding to each function. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
