<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a key device by removing one of a longitudinal rib and a lateral rib partitioning an opening of an enclosure for key arrangement and to ensure strength of the enclosure. <P>SOLUTION: The key device 3 comprises a enclosure 1 having an opening partitioned with a rib 12 that is a longitudinal rib or a lateral rib, a plurality of keys 31 arranged along the opening, and a substrate 35 built into the enclosure. The rib 12 engages with the substrate 35. More specifically, a protrusion 15 formed on the rib 12 is inserted into a hole 36 formed in the substrate 35. The key device further comprises an inner rubber 37 arranged between the keys 31 and the substrate 35 and the protrusion 15 on the rib 12 penetrates into a hole 38 formed in the inner rubber 37. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
