<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress sticking of foreign matters on a magnetic recording medium before magnetic transfer. <P>SOLUTION: A reloading section 17 supplies a magnetic recording medium on which magnetic information is to be recorded to a side of a magnetic transfer section 14, the supplied magnetic recording medium is positioned at a position opposed to a pattern formation surface of a master information recording body where a servo pattern is formed and sucked to be fixed to the master information recording body in contact, and the servo pattern formed on the master information recording body is magnetically transferred to the magnetic recording medium brought into contact with the master information recording body by using a first magnet member 50 and a second magnet member 60.
