<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recording and reproducing system capable of imparting various added-values to contents such a motion picture, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The information recording and reproducing device 100 comprises: a reproduction means 2 for reproducing first data recorded on an exchangeable medium 1; a recording-reproducing means 3 in which second data corresponding to the first data are recorded; and a CPU 9 for controlling the reproduction means or the recording and reproducing means.
