<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discover, before establishing connection with a device which performs wireless communication, a service to be provided by the device. <P>SOLUTION: Before establishing connection between devices including a wireless correspondence device or a device communicatively connected to a wireless access point or the other wireless communication devices, an information element is used for providing service discovery between the devices. The information element includes information relating to a service provided by the device and information showing a service discovery protocol to be used by the device. For example, the service to be preferentially discovered is a print service, camera service, PDA service, or the other arbitrary proper services.
