<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swinging switch device allowing four kinds of switch operation with swinging operations of an operating knob, reducing the size of area occupied by the contacts on a substrate, and reducing the size of the switch. <P>SOLUTION: Three fixed contacts 32, 33 and 34 are provided linearly on a wiring board 28. When the operation knob 23 is swung in the direction shown by an arrow A, the first fixed contact 32 turns on via a first pusher 26 in a first stage of the swinging operation, and the common fixed contact 33 turns on in a following second stage of the swinging operation. When the operation knob 23 is swung in the other direction, the third fixed contact 34 turns on via a second pusher in a first stage of the swinging operation, and the common fixed contact 33 turns on in a following second stage of the swinging operation. When the common fixed contact 33 turns on, the first fixed contact 32 and third fixed contact 34 can be distinguished by which of the two contacts (32 and 34) turned on before the common fixed contact 33 was turned on. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
