<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating-examining device which is low in cost and compact in size. <P>SOLUTION: The coating-examining device 10 examines whether an adhesive discharged from a syringe 54 is applied to a coating object 70, by the adhesive emitting fluorescence by the radiation of exciting light to the adhesive itself. The coating-examining device 10 includes: a second optical fiber 22 which transmits exciting light emitted from an exciting-light source 12; a probe 18 which includes the front end part of the second optical fiber 22 and a lens 28 which condenses the exciting light emitted from the front end part of the second optical fiber 22 to irradiate an applied adhesive with the light concerned, and condenses fluorescence generated from the adhesive, which is irradiated with the exciting light, to guide the fluorescence to the second optical fiber 22; a detector 16 which receives the fluorescence which passes through the second optical fiber 22; and a connecting mechanism 60 which connects the probe 18 with the syringe 54 as one united body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
