<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control device in which combustion of particulate corrected in a particulate filter can be performed surely. <P>SOLUTION: The engine control device 100 controlling an engine 10 having a particulate filter 80 has such constitution that the device includes: an exhaust gas temperature detector 82; an oxygen quantity detector detecting oxygen quantity in the exhaust gas; and a reproduction necessary/unnecessary discriminator for discriminating necessary/unnecessary of the reproduction of the particulate filter; wherein when it is discriminated that reproduction of the particulate filter is necessary, a normal reproduction mode, in which temperature of exhaust gas is made to be high temperature relative to temperature during normal operation, and a combustion promotion mode, in which temperature of exhaust gas is made to be low relative to the normal reproduction mode and also oxygen quantity included in exhaust gas is increased, are switched based on output of the exhaust gas temperature detector and the oxygen quantity detector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
