<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed rotary compressor, capable of suppressing flexure of a shaft by centrifugal force of a rotor, improving reliability of a bearing, and reducing vibrations and noise accompanying therewith. <P>SOLUTION: The rotary compressor includes: in a sealed container 1, a compression mechanism unit comprising a cylinder 8, a shaft 9, a roller 10, a vane 11, and upper and lower bearings 12, 13 closing both ends surfaces of the cylinder and the roller; and an electric motor 2 for driving the compression mechanism unit. In the rotary compressor, the upper bearing 12 fixes an outer circumferential part thereof to an inner wall of the sealed container 1, and includes a boss 12c for journaling the shaft at the central part. A plate 15 for holding and fixing the boss of the upper bearing is provided between the outer circumference of the boss and the inner wall of the sealed container. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
