<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor of a knitting device suitable for a practical knitting machine, which enables the stable rotation and the independent rotation control of the rotor. <P>SOLUTION: A rotor comprises: a rotor body having a pair of a locking recessed part 6 formed on its circumferential surface capable of locking a knitting yarn; and a rotation axis 3 projecting outwardly from a shaft center of the rotor body. The rotor can rotatably support the rotation axis 3 of a rotor 2 so as to rotate stably. The rotor can introduce a yarn into the locking recessed part 6 and lock the yarn so as to suitably form a loop necessary for knitting by use of the rotation of the rotor 2. With a first locking recessed part 6 forming an old loop, a second locking recessed part 6 forms a new loop and incorporates the new loop into the old loop by the rotation of the rotor 2 so as to make a stitch. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
