<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport decoder that avoids a mismatch between PES size information added to a PES header and a PES data size transferred to a decoder which is caused by data transformation in a PES header, without degradation in quality resulting from image and audio noises at the time of data decoding which can be caused when transformation or lack of TS packet data frequently occurs in a conventional system using an transmission channel on which transmission errors are likely to occur, such as a radio link. <P>SOLUTION: When a mismatch between Length information in a PES header and a data size actually transferred to a decode part is detected by an analysis of a TS header and the PES header, a transport decode part rewrites the size information added to the PES header to eliminate the mismatch. When the mismatch continues to occur a certain number of times, for example, in case of MPEG2-AAC, audio information in an ADTS header added to the PES header is rewritten in PES packet units and audio volume is decreased in packet units. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
