<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that can readily find out a modification page of a document. <P>SOLUTION: In a digital composite machine 1, a scanner scans a document 41 and forms document image data 42 that has page image data 43, 43 ... corresponding to each page. A pixel confirmation part 162 detects a color of each pixel in the page image data 43 and determines whether the page image data 43 has a pixel of a designated color set by a designated color setting unit 161.
