<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finishing method for a weld face, allowing approach of the weld face arc-welded in repair of a vehicle to a state before the vehicle has been damaged. <P>SOLUTION: This finishing method for the weld face includes: a process of scraping a protrusion portion of a weld mark by solidification of a molten metal from the weld face after the arc welding; a first coating process of placing a pattern on the weld face 10 from which the protrusion portion of the weld mark is scraped and coating the weld face 10 from above the pattern; and a second coating process of removing the pattern from the coated weld face, and newly coating the weld face including a portion from which the pattern is removed.
