<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood drying method and an apparatus achieving a sufficient drying speed, and drying wood sufficiently to the inside while preventing the deterioration of the wood due to excessive heating. <P>SOLUTION: The wood drying apparatus includes a carbon film inside a drying chamber. A radiant heat is generated from the carbon film by heating the drying chamber, so as to heat the wood.
