<p>Disclosed is an information processing device that is capable of reducing the time required for the switching of tasks in a plurality of coprocessors. Also disclosed is a task switching method. The information processing device (30) is equipped with: a processor core (301); coprocessors (311 to 31n) that are provided with calculation units (321 to 32n) that calculate in response to requests from the processor core (301), and calculation storage units (331 to 33n) that store the calculation content from the calculation units (321 to 32n); save storage units (351 to 35n) that store saved calculation content; a task switching control unit (302) that outputs a save-restore request signal in cases in which a task for calculating by means of the coprocessors (311 to 31n) is switched; and save-restore units (341 to 34n) that, on the basis of the save-restore request signal, at least either save the calculation content from the calculation storage units (331 to 33n) to the save storage units (351 to 35n) or restore the calculation content in the save storage units (351 to 35n) to the calculation storage units (331 to 33n).</p> |
