<p>Disclosed is an LED module (A1) which comprises: a lead (1) that has a front end sinking portion (14) and a die bonding portion (12) which is provided with a mounting surface (12a); a lead (2) that has a wire bonding portion (22) and is apart from the lead (1); an LED chip (3) that has an electrode terminal (31) and an electrode terminal (32) and is mounted on the mounting surface (12a); a wire (61) that connects the electrode terminal (32) and wire bonding portion (22) with each other; and a supporting member (4) that supports the leads (1, 2) and comprises a protective portion (42) having a sloping portion (42a), which covers the front end sinking portion (14), while exposing the mounting surface (12a), and which is gradually reduced in the thickness from the die bonding portion (12) toward the lead (2). Due to this configuration, the LED module (A1) can have a longer life without deteriorating reliability or light emission amount.</p> |
