<p>A wear plate system comprises whole hexagonal plates (300) configured to tessellate with each other, part plates (302-366) which are derived from respective whole plates (300), and second triangular plates (606). The plates are provided with holes to receive fasteners for securing the plates to a structure (600). The holes are located in the plates in a configuration such that when the plates are tessellated to form a substantially continuous lining, the holes form a repeating pattern. The second plates are configured to facilitate the formation of straight edges on the lining to match an edge of a structure (600) to which the lining is attached.</p> |
