METHOD AND INDICATING DEVICE FOR PRESENTING THE RECONNAISSANCE RESULTS DURING THE LOCATING OF FIREARMS

In a method for presenting the reconnaissance results during the locating of a firearm, a firing position is presented on a display (1) in a first circular indicator (2) in polar coordinates, with the position of the display as the circle center, the distance to the firing position as the radial coordinate, and the direction to the firing position is presented as the angular coordinate. In a circular-ring-shaped or circular second indicator (3) adjacent to the first indicator (2), the reconnaissance results of previous firing events are indicated also in polar coordinates in the chronological order thereof in such a way that the respective firing time is presented as the radial coordinate and the respective direction to the firing position is presented as the angular coordinate. Preferably, a second circular-ring-shaped outer indicator (3) is arranged around the first inner circular indicator (2).
