The dual mass flywheel (1) has a primary flywheel mass (3) that is connected with a crankshaft (7) of an internal combustion engine, and a secondary flywheel mass (15). The crankshaft is adjusted in impulse direction torque. The crankshaft is triggered in traction direction torque in the dual mass flywheel. A characteristic line of the energy storage (11) is effective during the both flywheel masses.
