The system has a refrigerator (1) provided with drawers that comprise a control unit. The control unit is connected with an operating device i.e. personal computer (3), and optical display elements e.g. LEDs, are arranged at each drawer. The display elements are controlled via data bus systems (11, 22). A central control unit co-acts with the operating device to control the display elements, at which the storage position of selected storage goods is located, where goods are provided with a radio frequency identification-transponder.
