PURPOSE: A wood pellet combustor is provided to prevent the combustion gas from flowing backward to a pellet supplying unit using the air of a first air ventilating space portion. CONSTITUTION: A wood pellet combustor comprises a combustion chamber(10), an air supplying unit(20), an ignition unit(30) and a pallet supplying unit(40). The pellet on the fire grate(12) of the combustion chamber is burnt with the air provided through the first and second air vents(14, 16). The air flows in through the blower of an outer container(A) in the air supplying unit. The air supplying unit comprises a plurality of guide vanes(24) and first and second air vents. The guide vanes maintain the first ventilation space portion(22) and are installed in the inner side of the outer tube. The first air vent blows the air at a combustion chamber in a swirling direction. The second air vent blows the air at a combustion chamber through the second ventilation space portion(28). The ignition unit lights a pallet through an electric heater(34). The pallet supplying unit successively transfers the wood pellet. The air of the first ventilation space portion flows in the pellet supplying unit. The pellet is easily inserted and dried. |
