PURPOSE: An LED driving device for a backlight of an LCD is provided to use DC power using an insulation transformer to directly drive an LED backlight, thereby simplifying a circuit. CONSTITUTION: An LED part(800) includes at least one light emitting device. A rectifying unit rectifies AC power. A switching unit(400) switches power by an external control signal. A transformer(500) converts power, which is applied by switching of the switching unit, based on a winding ratio. A combining unit rectifies and combines currents of both ends outputted from the transformer.
