DATA STORAGE MEDIUM HAVING SECURITY FUNCTION AND OUTPUT DEVICE THEREOF

Many book data stored in electronic storage media should essentially be protected as copyright, but in reality illegal duplication or hacking occurs against book data, and the book data contained in the electronic storage media are not sufficiently protected as copyright. Thus, the present invention provides a storage medium having a security function for storing media contents and an output device for outputting data stored in the storage medium. In order to control the transmission of the media contents stored in a memory unit to the output device, the data storage medium comprises a controller which converts at least one of the positions of the pins in a connecting unit and the stored positions of the media contents in the memory unit.
