<p>Provided is a stereoscopic image processing device for converting a two dimensional image into a three dimensional image. The stereoscopic image processing device is provided with detection units (33, 34) for detecting a value which represents the degree of variation of an image feature amount in a target frame of the two dimensional image, a normalization unit (41) for normalizing, in the case where the value detected by the detection units (33, 34) is less than a threshold value, the image feature amount so that the value which represents the degree of variation approaches the threshold value and outputting the normalized image feature amounts, and in the case where the value detected by the detection units (33, 34) is equal to or more than a threshold value, outputting the image feature amount without performing the normalization, and a depth information generation unit (44) for generating depth information for converting the two dimensional image into the three dimensional image on the basis of the image feature amount output by the normalization unit (41).</p> |
