The present invention relates to an apparatus for making ice cream, which produces yogurt ice cream or a healthy snack containing probiotics from preserved microbes for making (frozen) food containing probiotics, and sells the thus-produced yogurt ice cream or healthy snack. The apparatus of the present invention is configured to produce yogurt ice cream containing desirable soluble microbes or products containing probiotics without destroying or damaging microbes synthesized for (frozen) food containing probiotics, to improve the health of human body, and sell the thus-produced yogurt ice cream or products. Yogurt, milk, and probiotics are fed into a raw material tank serving as a material-synthesizing work chamber, agitated by an agitator, and injected into a cooling cylinder to be made into yogurt ice cream or a frozen food containing probiotics. When a purchaser selects an additive by operating a lever with a handle, the selected additive falls into the yogurt ice cream or frozen food containing probiotics in a collecting chamber, and the tasty and nutritious yogurt ice cream or frozen food containing probiotics is put into a container for the purchaser.
