PURPOSE: A Cordyceps bassiana extract and a method for isolating the same are provided to suppress atopic dermatitis. CONSTITUTION: A method for isolating extract for suppressing atopic dermatitis comprises: a step of adding Cordyceps bassiana to water and heating; and a step of removing polysaccharides from the extract by decompressing and extracting with cold ethanol. A composition for preventing or treating atopic dermatitis contains the extract. A cosmetic composition also contains the extract.
