PURPOSE: An LED driving device for a backlight is provided to directly drive an LED backlight using an insulated transformer, thereby minimizing the LED driving device. CONSTITUTION: An LED unit includes at least one light emitting device. A rectifying unit(200) receives and rectifies AC power. A switching unit(400) switches power by an external control signal. A transformer(500) converts power according to a predetermined winding ratio. A combining unit rectifies currents of both ends of the device and drives an LED.
