The method involves scanning the trajectory described projection angles of a three-dimensional image data set of a patient (9)with an X-ray device (1) comprising an X-ray detector (6) and an X-ray radiator (5), where the detector and the radiator are formed as a recording arrangement. Multiple X-ray radiation sources (10) comprising the radiator are arranged at different points, so that a scanning trajectory is realized by a combination of a mechanical movement of recording arrangement and a switchover between the X-ray radiation sources. The X-ray radiator comprises carbon nanotubes. An independent claim is also included for an X-ray device comprising a control device.
