<p>Disclosed is an electronic book device capable of expressively reproducing audio data as intended by the author. An electronic book device (100) reads and reproduces electronic book data containing text data, which includes information of the character strings constituting the text, and audio data corresponding to the text data. The electronic book device (100) is provided with an attention position estimating unit (40) for estimating the attention position in the text data, and an audio data reproduction control unit (50) which determines the reproduction mode of the audio data on the basis of the type of audio data. Further, the audio data reproduction control unit (50) performs control such that the audio data corresponding to the text data at the attention position estimated by the attention position estimating unit (40) is reproduced in the determined reproduction mode.</p> |
