The invention relates to a bioreactor assembly and to a method using a bioreactor and a lighting element for illuminating a medium disposed in a reactor interior, wherein the lighting element comprises at least one radiating surface, via which electromagnetic radiation, such as light, is radiated, the radiation being reflected via at least one end face into the reactor interior, wherein the bioreactor is designed as a container comprising a transparent wall, wherein the lighting element is disposed outside the reactor interior adjacent to at least one sub-region of the transparent wall, and wherein the radiation surface of the lighting element forms a bearing surface or support surface for the bioreactor. The invention also relates to an agitating device, comprising a reactor holder that can be caused to oscillate for a bioreactor designed as a container comprising a transparent wall, wherein the reactor holder comprises a two-dimensional lighting element, the radiating surface of which forms a bearing surface or support surface for the bioreactor to be received, wherein electromagnetic radiation, such as light, can be reflected via said surface into the reactor interior of the bioreactor. |
