PURPOSE: An apparatus for installing a contact medium and a contact aerating bath are provided to fix the contact medium and to prevent the treating efficiency reduction of the contact medium due to the sludge attachment of the contact medium. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for installing a contact medium(102) includes a plurality of bars(204a, 204b), a grid-shaped frame, a plurality of connectors, and an air supplying pipe. The bars support the contact medium from the upper side and the lower side. The grid-shaped frame includes a horizontal frame(202a) and a vertical frame. The horizontal frame supports the bars, and the vertical frame supports the horizontal frame. The vertical frame is formed into a hollow tubular shape. The connectors support the contact medium. The air supplying pipe supplies to the vertical frame to emit air through holes, which are installed on the vertical frame, in order to separate sludge from the contact medium. |
