Disclosed is a search space configuration suitable for communications systems that gather a plurality of base frequency blocks to make a wider bandwidth. Specifically disclosed is a base station device comprising: a control information generation unit that generates downlink control information for each base frequency block, for demodulating data channels that are sent individually to each of a plurality of base frequency blocks allocated to a user terminal; a decision unit that decides search spaces, which are candidate regions where downlink control information is located, for each base frequency block; and a transmission unit that transmits to the search space downlink control channels where downlink control information has been located. The control information generation unit collects downlink control information corresponding to each base frequency block, at each downlink control channel for specific base frequency blocks among a plurality of base frequency blocks. The decision unit uses the offset value unique to the base frequency block and the offset value unique to each user terminal to distribute the search space positions such that the search spaces are separated between the base frequency blocks and between the user terminals.
