ARTIFICIAL WALL FOR ABSORBING A SHOCK OF COLLISION

PURPOSE: A wall for shock absorption is provided to prevent injury to athletes by reducing impact when the athletes collide with a wall of a sports stadium. CONSTITUTION: A wall for shock absorption comprises a synthetic resin pad(10) which is formed by foaming a polyethylene material with a volumetric density of 20~30 g/L or an EPP material with a volumetric density of 20 g/L and attached to a wall of a sports stadium, a foamed sheet(20) which is attached to the synthetic resin pad, and a yarn cushion layer(30) which is tufted in the foamed sheet. The yarn cushion layer is composed of nylon, polyethylene, polypropylene or their mixture and has a yarn thickness of 9000~16000 Dtex and a density of 15000~20000 knots/m^2.
