APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING HIGH PURITY OXYGEN AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An apparatus for generating high purity oxygen and a method for controlling the same are provided to generate product gas based on remaining high purity oxygen in a carbon molecular sieve(CMS) tower. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for generating high purity oxygen includes zeolite tower systems(5, 6), a compressor(8), a CMS tower system(10), and at least one storing tanks. The zeolite tower systems are in fluid-connection with a compressing unit and a decompressing unit. The zeolite tower systems absorb or desorb nitrogen by increasing or decreasing a pressure in a tower. The compressor is in fluid-connection with the zeolite tower systems and compresses resultants generated from the zeolite tower systems. The CMS tower system is in fluid-connection with the compressor and generates oxygen. The storing tanks store oxygen from the zeolite tower systems and the CMS tower system.
