PURPOSE: A linear bearing is provided to maintain precision in a long time use because a ball is placed on and moved along a track formed in a cage. CONSTITUTION: A linear bearing comprises an outer shell(110), a cage(210), and a ball(310). The outer shell is formed in a cylindrical shape and bent inward on one end thereof. The cage is coupled to the interior side of the outer shell by being supported on the bent end of the outer shell and formed with an endless track on the longitudinal exterior surface thereof. The ball is installed on the outer side of the cage. A fixing groove is formed on the interior surface of the other side of the outer shell, and a snap ring for fixing the other side of the cage is fitted into the fixing groove. The endless track comprises a pair of straight surfaces corresponding to each other in the longitudinal direction and an elliptical surface connecting both ends of the straight surfaces.
