PURPOSE: A controlling method of a washing machine is provided to repeate the accelation and deceleration of a drum. CONSTITUTION: A motor applies torgue to a drum in a specified direction. The motor applies torque in the opposite direction to teh drum after accelating drum to a second rotation speed. The motor decelates the drum to the first rotatin speed.
