<p>A printing system that adopts an SBC system in which a load at a server is alleviated when executing printing to enable printing to be performed smoothly. In the printing system, a client terminal, a server, and an image forming apparatus are connected to each other through a network. The client terminal specifies data among stored data in the server and sends a print execution request to the server. The server receives the print execution request, creates print-related information relating to the specified data, and sends it to the client terminal. The client terminal judges whether or not print data generation processing with respect to the specified data is possible at the client terminal based on the print-related information, and send the judgment result to the server. The server allocates the print data generation processing to either the server or the client terminal based on the judgment result.</p> |
