<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for aerial peening, by which peening is easily applied to an object having a complicatedly shaped portion such as an implanted part of a turbine rotor blade. <P>SOLUTION: A device 11 for aerial peening is provided with: a laser beam oscillator 74 emitting a laser pulse beam; an optical fiber 12 transmitting the laser pulse beam near a surface 27 to be worked being under air; an irradiation device 13, which takes in the laser pulse beam from the optical fiber and irradiates the surface to be worked with the laser pulse beam. The irradiation device has: an injection nozzle 25 for pouring liquid on the surface to be worked; intermediate lenses 18, 19 and a front lens 21, which condense the laser pulse beam and emit it; and a water shielding pipe 24, which is arranged in the vicinity of the lenses and prevents the surface of the lenses from being adhered by liquid droplets. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
