<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method and a control device for a bevel angle of a torch, efficiently obtaining a bevel angle corresponding to a coordinate position of the torch by a turn in a travel direction and a turn in a traverse direction when cutting a circular arc track having a prescribed bevel angle by a machining device having no turn mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: A CNC control part 22 converts the circular arc track into a polar coordinate system in which a center XY coordinate position is the origin based on traveling velocity V of the torch, the bevel angle of a torch axis O1, an end point coordinate position and the center XY coordinate position of the circular arc track, described in an NC program, calculates an argument of a machining point in the polar coordinate system, and calculates an A-axis turn angle and a B-axis turn angle corresponding to the machining point based on the bevel angle and the argument. The CNC control part 22 drives an A-axis drive part 16A and a B-axis drive part 16B based on the calculated A-axis turn angle and B-axis turn angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
