PURPOSE: A photographing unit for the prevention of crimes and a photographing method are provided to take a picture of the scene of a crime by adding a camera unit to a flashlight. CONSTITUTION: In a photographing unit for the prevention of crimes and a photographing method, a power supply unit(20) supplies power to all kinds of sensors and a light emitting unit. An LED(30) receives electricity from the power supply unit and radiates light. An infrared radiation apparatus(40) receives electricity from the power supply unit and radiates infrared rays. A common camera(50) takes a picture of the outside while the LED radiates light. An infrared camera takes an infrared picture from the infrared radiation apparatus. An ultrasonic sensor senses objects and people within a short distance. A pressure sensor senses pressure applied to a body case.
