<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program and the like allowing generation of a background image with a low processing load. <P>SOLUTION: This image generation system comprises a background image storage part storing a plurality of background images including respective background images seen from a virtual camera in respective positions in an object space, a virtual camera control part controlling the virtual camera; and an image generation part generating images visible from the virtual camera in the object space by mapping the background image, which is specified by the position of the virtual camera among a plurality of background images stored in the background image storage part, to a background map object constructed of a primitive face arranged in the position separated by a predetermined distance from the virtual camera. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
