A method of removing a metal sleeve (12) from a bore formed in one or more elements (10) is disclosed. The sleeve (12) may be a cold-expanded sleeve (12) secured within the bore by means of an interference fit. The method includes removing material from the internal surface of the sleeve (12) by means of cutting (cutter 26) along a line to a depth less than the thickness of the sleeve, and subsequently urging the sleeve (12) from the bore. |
