ROLLER HEMMING SYSTEM USING ROBOT

PURPOSE: A roller hemming system using a robot is provided to maintain optimal contact between a hemming anvil and a vehicle body by employing a flexible mounting device capable of coping with the changing position of the vehicle body. CONSTITUTION: A roller hemming system comprises a roller hemming device(10) which hems a flange part of a vehicle body, a robot(20) which loads and actuates the roller hemming device, a hemming anvil(30) which contacts the vehicle body and allows the roller hemming device to hem the vehicle body, a sliding fixture assembly(40) which loads the hemming anvil, and a tool stand(70) for keeping the hemming anvil. The sliding fixture assembly comprises a base part including a main cylinder, two guides, and four stoppers and a sliding stand part including three flexible mounting devices.
