A satellite antenna mount comprises a first pivoting bracket 32 with an adjustment cam 33 where the cam 33 can be operated from a location external to the surface of the mount such that it adjusts the position of the bracket 32 relative to that of a mount plate 31. A pivot point 311 is provided between the bracket 32 and the mount plate 31. The cam 33 comprises of a shaft 333, a disc 331 and a connection portion 332. The connection portion 332 may be cylindrical and may be coaxial with the shaft 333. The disc 331 may be circular with its centre offset from that of the shaft 333. Alternatively, the disc 331 may be non-circular in shape with a geometric centre aligned with that of the shaft 333. The shaft 333 may be hexagonal shaped to facilitate adjustment of the cam 33 by a spanner or wrench. The connection portion 332 and the disc 331 may be arranged to fit within cam slots 312. When the cam shaft 333 is rotated the disc 331 and cam slots 312 cause the mount plate 31 to rotate relative to the bracket 32. First and second cam arrangements may be provided in a satellite antenna mount to make adjustments in orthogonal directions for the azimuth and elevation of the antenna. |
