<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branch pipe as a simple joint means, which is reduced in the number of part items by constituting it as an integrated unit without needing a plurality of members, and which can be easily attached to a major diameter pipe by a simple connecting operation. <P>SOLUTION: The branch pipe 1 to be connected to a connecting hole provided on the sidewall of the major diameter pipe for joining a branch pipe to the major diameter pipe includes an insert cylindrical part 13 inserted to the connecting hole of the major diameter pipe; a receiving cylindrical part for receiving the branch pipe; and a flange part 11 seated around the connecting hole. The insert cylindrical part 13 includes a plurality of engagement claws 14 to be engaged with the back surface of the connecting hole when the insert cylindrical part 13 is inserted to the connecting hole of the major diameter pipe; and a plurality of projecting guides 15 which guides the insert of the branch pipe 1 by abutting on the inner surface of the connecting hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
